미국의 힙합/R&B 가수 Post Malone (포스트 말론). 뮤지션 이전에 유튜버이기도 했던 그는 'White Iverson'의 뮤직비디오를 유튜브에서 바이럴 시키며 빠르게 온라인 세계를 접수해 나갔다.

 

곧바로 유니버설 뮤직 그룹 산하인 리퍼블릭 레코드와 계약을 맺고 50 Cent, Young Thug, Kanye West 등 힙합계 굵직한 아티스트들과 작업하며 그 이름을 더욱 알리게 된다. 'Conglatulation'이 담긴 [Stoney]의 성공 이후 21 Savage와 함께 발표한 싱글 'rockstar'는 빌보드 싱글 차트 8주 연속 1위라는 대기록을 세우며 승승장구했다.

2018년에는 두 번째 정규작 [Beerbongs & Bentleys]를 발표해 빌보드 200 차트 1위에 오르며 상업적 성공을 거두었고, 이듬해 3집 [Hollywood`s Bleeding]으로 인기를 이어가 2020년 "빌보드 뮤직 어워드" Top Rap Male Artist를 포함 세 개 부분의 수상자가 되었다. 2022년에는 네 번째 정규앨범 [Twelve Carat Toothache]를 공개, 그동안 겪었던 음악에 대한 고뇌와 무력감, 반대로는 한층 더 성숙해진 모습들을 담아내며 이전보다 다양하고 색다른 음악들을 선사했다.
