노라 존스 (Norah Jones)-Running

Norah Jones는 미국의 가수이다. 2002년 데뷔 앨범 [Come Away With Me]를 발표하며 팝계 샛별로 떠오른 그는 재즈와 팝, 블루스, 컨트리, 포크의 조화가 인상적인 이 앨범으로 빌보드 정상에 오르며 전 세계적으로 2천6백만 장이라는 엄청난 판매고를 기록했다.

 

2003년 "그래미 어워드"에서 최우수 신인상, 올해의 앨범, 올해의 레코드를 포함해 무려 5개 부문의 트로피를 수상했고, 이와 함께 'Don't Know Why'를 작곡한 Jesse Harris는 올해의 노래, Arif Mardin은 올해의 프로듀서 부문을 수상하는 등 겹경사를 맞았다.

2004년에는 컨트리 음악의 영향을 많이 받은 두 번째 앨범 [Feels Like Home]을 발매해 역시 빌보드 차트 1위에 올랐고, 2006년 The Little Willes의 데뷔 앨범 [The Little Willies], 2007년 연인 관계였던 Lee Alexander가 프로듀스를 한 세 번째 앨범[Not Too Late]를 연이어 내놓았다. 이후 음악적 시도를 계속해왔고, 2012년 핫한 프로듀서 Danger Mouse를 초빙해 만든 인디 팝 스타일의 5집 [Little Broken Hearts]로 인기를 이어갔다.
 
2016년 10월 여섯 번째 스튜디오 앨범 [Day Breaks]를 발매했으며 이 앨범 역시 미국 앨범 차트 2위, 영국 차트 9위에 오르는 성과를 얻었다. 이후에도 정규작 [Pick Me Up Off Off The Floor], 첫 크리스마스 앨범 [I Dream of Christmas] 등을 발매하면서 업적을 쌓아갔다.
