미국 출신의 싱어송라이터 Conan Gray (코난 그레이)는 2013년부터 개인 유튜브 채널에 수많은 커버 곡과 브이 로그를 올려 에너지 넘치는 모습과 청량한 매력을 발산했다.

 

2018년에 싱글 'Grow'를 시작으로 첫 EP 앨범 [Sunset Season]을 발매, 중성적인 목소리와 세련된 멜로디를 들려주었으며 이듬해 'The King', 'Checkmate', 'Maniac' 등의 곡을 공개해 리스너들의 이목을 사로잡았다.

2020년 3월에 발매한 데뷔 스튜디오 앨범 [Kid Krow]는 미국과 캐나다 차트 5위에 올랐고, RIAA 기준 골드를 받았다. 2022년 6월에는 그리움에 대한 비탄의 확장이라고 묘사한 두 번째 정규작 [Superache]를 발표해 빌보드 200 차트 9위로 데뷔했다.
